So today I got an email from my IPS, Charter Communications
This letter is to inform you that Charter Communications ("Charter") has applied service limits to your account pursuant to our credit policy.
I tried to find this on Google and I can't see anyone else mentioning something like this. Has anyone else gotten a letter like this? I pay for a 12 meg service and I the speed test I just ran says I got 13 down and 3 up. So I'm not even entirely sure what they are implying by "service limits".
Edit: Also it says that the credit score is on a range of 1-999. I'm in America and I don't think there is a credit score that uses this range.
I have charter and have never had something like this. Perhaps because you are little credit history (assuming you do because of the email) they keep an eye on your account until you prove you can afford it or something.
Just give em a call.
