Updated to Ubuntu 11.04, Now it won't start properly

When my computer starts I get the choose what OS to boot into, if I chose Linux, i just get the Ubuntu splash screen which won't dissapear, but if I choose older linux versions and click it. It boots like it should and I have 11.04 right there.

What might be causing this?

Upgrade to Ubuntu 11.10 then.

Upgrading to 11.04 right before 11.10 came out seemed like a pretty retarded move on your part.
