Keep the good ones on permanently ? ? ?
Keep the good ones on permanently ? ? ?
These gamemodes get stale super-fast when they're permanently available. Making them available for one or two weeks allows people to cool off a little bit. That, and the fact that a week is just what people need to turn a fun novelty gamemode into an unplayable mess because by the end of the first week everyone found the OP shit to use and removing the gamemode for relatively long periods of time basically puts all these tactics out of date when it comes back due to champion buffs/nerfs and such.
Two weeks is not long enough and if they keep updating the gamemodes and balancing them etc then they won't get stale It's also like saying summoners rift 5v5 is stale because it's been out for so long
URF was infinitely more entertaining than regular. I don't even play anymore now that URF isnt available.
Keep the good ones on permanently ? ? ?
The more queues there are, the more segregated the players will be, that's really the main reason why they don't keep them up for long (the second being that they'll become stale after a while.). I've said this before: They should consider making something similar to Smite's Match of the Day (that list is very incomplete mind you, there is atleast the double of that), a special queue featuring one of the standard gamemodes but with a (minor or mayor) twist, that rotates daily. It used to pick one mode from a large list at random, now they use a schedule with ideas from the community, the community's favorites and then one or two randoms.
