• Need a cooler for an FX-8320

I got the FX-8320 recently and I need a new cooler for it. The stock heatsink and fan cools it really well quite surprisingly, never surpassing 50*C and returning to 15*-20*C with little use. However, the fan sounds like a little tiny jet engine in my PC, it is very loud and obnoxious and distracting. Price cap is $100. I was looking at the H80i and the H100i, but I really would much rather have a single fan radiator rather than two. Any suggestions? Thanks.
Dark Rock 2? Hyper 212 Evo? H55?
I'm looking for something with more cooling power so I can overclock. The Dark Rock 2 looks nice, but I don't want something that bulky. I actually don't really want a heatsink at all. That means the 212 is out too. And since I was already looking at the H80i and above, the H55 wouldn't really suffice. Thanks for the suggestions though. Anyone got any other ideas?
I have an H100i for my 3770K it cools really well, but it's VERY loud, if you turn it up we are talking 290X loud
Its gotta be pretty quiet too. Not absolutely silent but the volume has to be hard to notice when doing simple computing. This damn 8320 cooler is firing up at over 5500 RPM's just browsing facepunch, resting at less than 20*C.
If you need a non-massive cooler, I recommend the Zalman CNPS5X: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835118128 I have it on a A10-6790K OCd to 4.7 GHz with the IGP running at 1016 MHz and it doesn't break a sweat with maximum load on both the CPU and IGP.
noctua coolers are great, if you don't care about the looks (why did they take brown for the fan color?!). They are super quiet and cool pretty good. you should take a look at the noctua nh-u14s: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835608041
why did they take brown for the fan color?!
It matches the colours of the Athene Noctua (Little owl), which is in their name and logo [t]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/0/0a/Athene_noctua_%28portrait%29.jpg/640px-Athene_noctua_%28portrait%29.jpg[/t]
