• Vista keeps trying to connect to a wireless network when my network is wired

Well, the title is self explanatory, but Vista keeps trying to connect to a wireless network when I have a wired network. Every once in a while, the internet will go down and Vista will say that it can't connect to the internet because it can't detect a network adapter. The other computers in the house can still access the internet and its only my computer. I checked the diagnose connection thing and it said that it was trying to connect to a wireless network. I've installed the latest drivers for my network adapter and I'm still having problems. I've had this problem for a couple days now after a Windows update and its getting really annoying. Anyone know a solution to this problem? I'm using Windows Vista Home Premium 64Bit and I have a Realtek RTL 8168B/8111B network adapter. EDIT: Added a picture. Note that my computer has a wired connection to the network.
Disable your wireless adapter? Also inb4 "VISTA IS THE PROBLUM LOL"
Control Panel -> Network and Sharing Center -> (on the left menu) Mange Network Connections -> Right click on your wireless adapter and select disable. This will disable your network card until enabled.
Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections
Put that in you explorer bar and disable the wireless adapter.
Thats the thing though, I don't have a wireless adapter, yet it says that its trying to connect to a wireless network.
