Hi everybody. I'm gonna cut to the chase, and spare you the explanation.
Point being, I need a new laptop that has some level of gaming ability. I have to bounce around right now and the only way to do that with little effort is with a laptop unfortunately.
So I've narrowed down my choices to two different ASUS laptops.
Which should I pick?

ASUS A53SV-XE1
vs.
ASUS N53SV-XE1
Note the similar specifications on each laptop, the difference being this:
A53SV:
6GB DDR3 RAM (room for 8)
5400rpm HDD
0.3 MP Webcam
$800 pricetag
N53SV:
4GB DDR3 RAM (room for 16)
7200rpm HDD
2.0 MP webcam
$890 pricetag
[release](Yay release tags so I can shift focus!)
Anyway, however on the other hand you fine gentlemen of Facepunch may suggest a laptop you have in mind. My requirements are this:
15.6'' inches or under. I dont want to haul a monster around with me. :D
Proper gaming abilities. You know, something at or more powerful than an Nvidia 540m, and an i5 processor. You get the idea. :3
A pricetag under $1000[/release]
And out of release tags. So let the discussion begin!
And thank you guys so much in advance.
Go with the N53SV, you can always upgrade the RAM at a later time if needed.
For $999 you can get the HP Envy 14 (14.5" screen)
6GB RAM
i5-2410m
1GB Radeon HD6630

HP are very often crapy laptops
I'm talking about the quality itself, not the hardware.

And at least ASUS give you 2 years of warranty instead of a single one from HP
Also according to the reviewers in the Amazon page, the ASUS N53SV seems to be a great choice

Why are you recommending him a Macbook?
Besides, they just discontinued them.
Get one of the new MacBook Airs. I know I want one of them at least :D

I'll stay away from HP for the time being. Not to say that all HP laptops will fail, but the laptop I'm typing on is dying slow and painful. Fucking iBUYPOWER. I'd rather buy a laptop that has a less chance of dying thanks to low build quality or something.
what are you talking about that screen resolution is shit
The 320x240 resolution is so hot though.
