I blame the pricing, it's quite expensive, especially over here.
Sure would be nice if it wasn't such a buggy mess at launch, also, just the whole general 60 euro priced "multiplayer only" game thing brings it down a bit.
Hard to sell a game like this at full price nowadays, when you consider that it's 5 times the price of CSGO it's hard to see it doing well.

$40 or no buy
$40 or no buy
20-30 euros for me or no buy :v: Not that I have that much so I couldn't buy it even if I wanted to
It's too fucking expensive, at least in USD. In Chilean pesos it's surprisingly just over $40, when normally new releases here are higher, but that doesn't matter to me since my Steam account is a US one.
I played the alpha and all the betas and I'd love to be playing it right now but it's 60 fuckin euros for a game with the standard ubisoft level netcode so nothanks for now.
Its the piracy on PC market guys.
I played the beta and it bored the fuck outta me. The concept is neat but it doesn't feel as tight as CS:GO and the gimmick of setting up/blowing walls gets boring REAL quick.
I'm a huge CSGO fan and I have to say that it's a blast to play. But only when you don't get instant headshotted by a hacker. I bought it for 34 eu on a site and it's pretty much worth it. The huge price is still too much but it has a good side-effect against possible hackers/cheaters.

Yeah for me it's too expensive and it definitely seems like the type of game that you'll only get full value out of it you can coordinate and at least tryhard a bit with. So while I really like the general concept, I think I'll just wait for people to upload highlights on Twitch/YouTube.
you can get it for 28 EUR (like 30 dollars) on gamers-outlet.net its a wonderful multiplayer game for that price i'd say, i had a blast playing with my friends
maybe developers should stop selling multiplayer only games for $60+ with pre-planned season pass dlc
This game honestly had a chance to be a good almost-rival to CSGO, had the price been correct. Whoever it was at Ubisoft who decided on this price fucked the game's chance and possibly future. It's a shame.
Well, 80$ cad for what amounts to a multiplayer only game with 1 gamemode is not that great of a deal really, no matter how fun the game is.
the game seems quite shallow anyway. They're pushing it as an e-sports but it missed the point entirely on how to make a "deep" shooter. The Counter-Strike series masters the "easy to play but hard to master" design. Any dope can understand buy a gun at the start of the round then shoot people up but in order to get good you need to learn so much more and the nuances of each map.
You can get it for 29.99 on kinguin guys
Hmm I wonder if that's because Borderlands 2 has been out for 3 years now and has gone on sale multiple times for very cheap. Nope couldn't be that.
Remember when Evolve also tried to be e-sports game?

the game is seriously fun (I got it for free with a graphics card) there's just absolutely no way I could suggest paying full price for it

The netcode was so shit that every game I played (connection said 20-40 so I'll assume that's ping) I would get shot around a corner by some guy with 200+ ping, then in the killcam it would show him far past the corner
better news [t]http://a.pomf.cat/ewnzdh.png[/t]
what really blows my mind is that cs:go and dota 2 are so far ahead of anything else in popularity that even fallout 4, a AAA title that's been incredibly hyped by many people who have been waiting 5 or more years for for it still doesn't even break an eighth of the combined peak players for the day
Fallout 4 beat them both on launch day though.
And with the optimization issues and Fallout 4 generally being a much more demanding game than either CS:GO and Dota 2 it's not that surprising.
Fallout 4 beat them both on launch day though.
Fallout's 472,962 all-time peak 16 days ago cs:go that day [t]http://a.pomf.cat/vsbnoi.png[/t] ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
