What kind of a name is Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution Do ninjas fall from the sky and start a particularly exceptional coup d'etat against the government?
Recent Naruto games are actually a lot of fun. The story mode tells the story without 500 episodes of filler like the anime, and like they advertise there's plenty of different characters to use, even if there's 4 different Naruto's, Sasuke's, etc. The special moves are also very extravagant and nice to watch. It's fun pulling them off in game as a finisher, since the character gets a little mini inner reflection scene about why they're fighting in the first place before wrecking their enemy's shit. Also that robot Naruto :v:

The last one was pretty awesome, I had great fun playing through it. I'm not entirely sure if its Pro Player material though... Let's see how they improve things further on.
I know Naruto carries a pretty bad stigma, but these games are surprisingly fun. I also love the art style, 3D pulling off an anime look is surprisingly rare.

Even worse than Modern Warefare 2's. Hell, even worse than Halo 2's! I really hope this one doesn't dissapoint. I was honestly thinking about skipping this one, but the Mecha Naruto is really tempting.

They can't overtake the manga, after all, so this one will probably leave off on a major cliffhanger too.
hopefully it will be 60 fps this time.
Oh wait, this one's technically telling side-stories. Stupid me. :v: curse you foiled automerges
aww no xbone :(
hopefully it will be 60 fps this time.
It's still current gen like the previous Storm games were, so I doubt it. Even JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle was 30 fps. Perhaps we should wait until the games hit next gen consoles.
I saw a Lets Play of one of those games (gamegrumps I think?), and it looked a lot better than I expected it to.
Of course, while Matsuyama would like to chase the hardcore fighting audience, he can't risk alienating the casual base that the franchise has already attracted.
God forbid he cuts out the bottom line of shitty cosplayers and fangirls.

Things that were only ever alluded to and stated, but never shown, even with all the extra crap the anime tacks on to the series. Side-stories don't have to be filler; they're things not elaborated on in or shown the franchise that could be retold for more clarity or for the sake of a fight.
Just get rid of the substitution log bullshit, it was far more balanced when it relied on your power gauge and using it removed that sweet special attack you were saving up for or being dry.
