FIFA 14 exists,
Of course it does. As if there hasn't been FIFA games being released yearly.
It makes me sad I have no interest in sports games when they seem to be one of few genres where innovation other than visuals is still a thing among major studios.

They've constantly been adding major changes to the physics engine and the AI for the past four years (as well as many graphics improvements, tying the game into the world's most popular leagues etc).

Maybe Everton might get the credit they deserve in this one
I think it's a shame football games are so popular. It's one of the easiest sports to set up so why not just get some people together (maybe ones that are inside...playing FIFA?) and have a game? It just seems to go against the whole premise of video games.

I love articles like this. As it is a fucking surprise there is a new FIFA game. There has been one every year. Just like modern warfare 4 is pretty much confirmed for this year and black ops 3 for next year. Sport games are shit anyway its a shame they exist. If you want to do sport go outside.

And to those or don't like sports games, you're completely missing the point, they're a lot of fun to have a smoke or a few beers with friends, it's another form of competitive video games, using the medium of football.
