I will never be able to use my pinky finger. I usually use my first 2 and my thumb for space, but sometimes I use my ring finger, so usually between 5 and 8.

3 main fingers and a thumb, 3 main on one hand 2 on another, and both thumbs. I use 7 pretty often.
10, if you count the space key as typing... now that I've typed this I realise I use my pinkies for shift keys, and I've already voted. Ah well.

I'm typing this right now to figure it out. I'm using my thumbs, my index fingers, my middle fingers and occasionally my ring fingers. I only ever use my left pinky if I need to push control. I'm also noticing that I only use the right shift when typing. The left shift is apparently reserved for sprint in videos games.
That was fun.
Actually, upon further inspection, I only use my left thumb for space-bar.
Typically eight, I don't use my pinkies while typing unless I need to use shift.

I type with all of them like I am at this moment right now haha, I like typing like this wow not one flaw woah I'm too awesome.
