March 11th Friday, I returned home. I had turned off my monitor, but left my computer on before I left. I turned my monitor on. A few minutes passed, my computer unexpectedly turned itself off. I tried starting it up again, but to no avail, it did not start up anymore. After numerous times of plugging the cables in and out, it started up again, three days later at 1 am, 5 hours ago. This has happened before, I had to wait about 12h, now I had to wait 3 days. Is my PSU getting old?
The PSU in question is a 1kW Chieftec APS-1000C. It's 2 years old, to be precise, 2 years and 1 month.

The sudden shutdown may occur at any time, even now.
I ain't no computee specialist, but I know psus have a tendency to restart/fail PCs.

I can't think of any other reason why it would be doing that other than the psu is what I mean.
Probably the PSU. Only get a reliable brand of PSU, like Antec, Corsair, etc. Don't buy unheard of brands or no-name brands, as these will fail. Look on Newegg for popular power supplies and get a replacement.
Look through the fan blades (move them out of the way with a plastic fork or something to see more) and see if the capacitors (cylindrical tubes with numbers printed on them) are bulging/leaking a brown crystalline substance. If they are, the PSU is bad and needs to be replaced.
