• Photoshop cs5 no longer detecting GPU
    0 replies, posted
Hello, I am having a problem with Photoshop CS5 detecting my GPU. I have a AMD 6950 and a nVidia 8800GTS plugged in (I have a 3 monitor setup). It used to work fine, but I had to reinstall photoshop because it somehow how corrupted. Ever since then it hasn't worked. My Cintiq is plugged into the AMD card when Photoshop launches it appears on that screen. I'm not sure why it's suddenly not working. When I disable the nVidia card and launch photoshop, it sees my AMD card. I also updated my AMD driver recently so this may also be the problem... I also have noticed Just Cause 2 wants to only run on my nVidia card and shows up on that screen, it's the only game that does this. Going back to my old driver doesn't fix this. You also may be wondering why I use my nVidia card, I use it for the physX driver hack and because the screens I use don't seem to work with HDMI on my AMD card.
