are you kidding me come on what are you doing facebook I legitimately expected this to be your typical ToS misread / something like googles situation / not actually nearly as awful as people think, but there is a senator that's taking notice :v: dude what the fuck
Congressman asking virtual reality company for transparency. There's an amazing ironic headline to be had here. Where are my writers when I need them?

Also, ^
Meh, people heavily scrutinized Oculus' TOS because of Facebook, but so far nothing found has been reason to freak out. Some redditors crawled through the network traffic of Oculus Home and the OVR service that always runs in the background, and they found nothing out of the ordinary. [editline]10th April 2016[/editline] People tend to equate Facebook the company to Facebook the social network. How many people do still see Google as purely the search engine? FB is diversifying right now because it's sitting on a pile of money. The only reason Yahoo is still around is because they diversified, helping them stay afloat when their main site tanked. Point being, most of the issues people have had so far have been with the social network. Not FBs other (usually less known) ventures.
good thing i really dont care about this VR thing so far unless it would be worth it for the porn

We knew damn well what Facebook was up to for a looong time.
