Wow, whomever drew up the ad for this had no idea what they were doing. The steam ad had the main character from the Second Game on it. A game that's not even on steam.
Was never a fan of the combat in this. Shame, I've always wanted to finish it.
This game reminded me how bad I've gotten at games, you need to do more than right click to win and what how
Still, it's a good one; I definitely enjoyed the 80+ hours I got out of it.
DAO was one of the best games I've played. I really enjoyed it, so much i got like 3-4 characters easily with 50-70 hours on each one.
Amazing game
One of the best RPGs to come out in a looooong time.
Yes, everyone who doesn't have it needs to get this. One of the finest Fantasy RPG experiences on the market. Unfortunately I don't own the PC version, never got to buy it, and I never got to play any of the DLC, as I only owned the game a short time before my xbox died and now I don't play consoles, so. Kinda missing out on it and all of it's awesome modability unfortunately. Buy it. A lot of people are hesitant I have noticed, due to Bioware's recent reputation, but seriously no worries here, one of their best.
it was fun and i enjoyed but its certainly not great still worth picking up tho fo sho
Got it. Another one to add to the list of games I have no time to complete.
I actually ruined my social life in my junior year of high school because I could not stop playing this.

You'll spend more time moving people into a specific position and then waiting for a good moment to interrupt than anything else. I guess you could grab a mod that helps make the combat more interesting but I couldn't give you a recommendation for one. The world and story is pretty neat though.
What do you mean by that? Is it slow or clunky or what? Asking because I had it gifted to me but I haven't touched it.
The combat is very in-depth and you'll likely spend most of your time in third-person mode micro-managing all of your characters which can make the combat slow at times. The only big gripe I've had with the combat though is how aoe is handled: When you cast an ability it can hurt teammates as much as it hurts enemies, which means you'll often spend a lot of time moving and pausing just to get a perfect shot. Problem is that since it takes time for your spells to fire after you queue them enemies might move out of the aoe or friendlies might move into it, which makes it frustrating. The difficulty curve is also quite unforgiving in this in my opinion; If you end up taking the wrong skills on your character you might as well reduce the difficulty because you can't respec. Other than that the combat is fun and the way it is set up makes it very unique and requires you to think a lot more than other RPGs.
It's still not available in Russia, fuck. Missing it for 10th time already.

Been a while since I played it but I don't remember it telling me much of what strategies to use, so I just ended up clicking on a guy, waiting for him or me to die. If I die, get more people hitting this person until he dies. This is probably the wrong way to play it :v:
I've never actually played this, so I got it and I'm looking forward to it.
