I have a Swedish friend, who is currently undergoing a operation which he's honestly afraid of, which may change his personality or make him paralysed. He's gone through this before, but he needs another one, The last time he needed one, he honestly changed into almost a completely different person. His likes were different, all of that. He's been asking me to send some stuff over from England which he can't get in Sweden for awhile now, so i thought now would be a good time to send it. What I've got currently is some and a 2 ltr bottle of Irn bru, Mtn dew code red, and some swedish dosh. I'm also thinking of sending him a steam wallet code, but does any one know if they work internationally? What i'm asking you, is do you guys have any good ideas what I should give him?
Thanks.
(Sorry mods if this is the wrong place btw)
I'd send him the wallet code.
But i'm a bit worried if they work internationally, Does anyone know?

They do
Going to get one in a bit then, thanks guys! I'm still excepting ideas IMO.
Chips wrapped in newspaper.
What is the operation? Curios when you said it can change his personality
Can't remember the name, but if i remeber correctly, It's draining fluid through the spine because he has high pressure in his skull/brain. Which, the doctors told him can screw with his personality. I think it was called a spinial tap, let me check
Yeah, a lumbar puncture.
Lumbar punctures can also be used as a treatment for elevated intracranial pressure, such as occurs with cryptococcal meningitis, by removing fluid and decreasing the pressure.
This may be corny but I'll suggest it anyway, you should hand write a letter to him about being happy you guys are friends and whatnot. You guys seem like you're very close and you're a good friend for even doing this.
I hope your friends surgery goes well (which I'm sure it will)!

Fun thing was, I was going to get him a big box of earl gray, one of those music mugs, with the british flag with god save the queen on, but decided that would be a bit too much ;v

Personality still intact, too?

Called him on skype, Seemed allright, Voice sounded a bit diffrent, but other then that, he seemed fine. He says that he almost kicked in his wall from the pain for six whole days, and said not even any anesthetic didn't do shit.
Another update. He's been rushed into A&E because of heavy pain out of nowhere. This can't be good.

Keep us updated on anything that happens.
I'll be happy if he's alright.
