I recently built myself a new gaming computer, but I'm still using the same crappy mouse and keyboard I've had for years. They're literally falling apart, so i figure its about time for an upgrade. I've got around $80 to spend on new set. What does Facepunch suggest?
Theres your mouse.

Alright, $80 is just a number I pulled out of my ass. I don't really have set budget per say, but I'm lookin' to get a few more goodies out of my parents for Christmas before I head off to college in a year and a half. I think a I could persuade them to drop somewhere under $100 on computer stuff for me.
I'm using a Logitech G19 for the keyboard and a Razer Deathadder 3000DPI Edition for the mouse.
Both feel amazing.
I would prefer a mouse with more than the standard 3 buttons. Also, I wouldn't be against getting one, more expensive, mouse or keyboard for Xmas and then buying a ~$50 counterpart for it myself.
kinzu is best mouse, do you need extra buttons for macros? Don't waste your money on a gimmicky laser gaymen mouse.
Speaking of gimmicky... Anybody have experience with the Mad Catz RAT 7? I mean, thats about as gimmicky as it gets but still sounds awesome. I also like the fact that I wouldn't need to get a new mouse after a while because I got older and my hands got bigger.

$80 is more than enough for a decent mouse and a keyboard.
Mouse: Logitech MX518 (pretty much the best mouse ever, and it's cheap)
As for the keyboard, I'm not a strong believer in 'gaming' keyboards, I've got a Logitech Internet 350 and a Logitech Classic 200 for my computers ($20AUD for each), and have had no problems with either.
Check newegg for sales. I got the saitek eclipse keyboard for 22.99 with free shipping. And the saitek mouse for 25. (3200dpi one) Can't for wrong.
I had a Logitech MX518 before I got the Razer DeathAdder.
Both are good.
There's a stupidly high amount of MX518 owners worldwide, and there's a reason for that.

See what I did there? Just because a lot of people have that mouse doesn't mean it's all that great.
Except the MX518 is actually great, and that's a fact.
