My friend needs a new psu to power his amd 955 and 5770. I came across this power supply, and yes, it's made by rosewill, but it actually seems quite plausible. Single 40A rail, 80 PLUS certified. Any comments? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182199&cm_re=rosewill_psu-_-17-182-199-_-Product
I would only use a rosewill psu in a very low wattage situation. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139008
OP, with that $25 off and free shipping, I would go with the Rosewill. I normally would advise against it, but that's a really good deal for that PSU.
I hear Rosewill fakes some of their 80+ certs. Not sure of the details but eh.
40+ amps in a $30 PSU? I doubt it.
40+ amps in a $30 PSU? I doubt it.
A $50 PSU, and one that's normally $80. 40+ amps on a $80 PSU doesn't sound too far-fetched.
