This is the monitor I'm currently using (4:3 peasant race). It has some USB ports on the side which I'd find useful if they didn't need drivers to work. However, the drivers only support Windows XP and Vista 32-bit, while I'm running Windows 8 64-bit, which is weird because the disc that came with this had drivers that worked fine on Windows 7 (I don't know where it is now).
Anyways, would either of these drivers work for me? Are monitor drivers fairly flexible and the OS labels just blanket terms?
Thanks in advance.
Windows Vista drivers should on 7 and 8
Wait, I guess the only drivers available are for XP only after all...
I went to support to see if I could find anything better and couldn't find my service tag, so I used their program which had an XP era GUI and gave me a code that was too long. Then I went to register and it asked me for my service tag again, and the box was EVEN SHORTER, so I clicked help and it recommended me a program that wasn't available for anyone using Chrome and Windows 8.
10/10 Dell.

That's all I could dig up on the matter. I'd say follow that to a T, while also thinking about just buying a cheap USB Hub to do the work the monitor currently cannot.
