I turned on my computer just now, and for some reason, the icons were bulging, and my taskbar, quick start bar, and start menu didn't appear. I've tried system restore 3 times, none of the times worked. I've also tried bringing up the bar if it was minimized, etc., but that didn't work either.
Does anyone know what's wrong?
Virus maybe. Can you start any anti-virus?
ctrl alt del taskmanager, start new job explorer.exe does that do anything? You may have had it removed from your startups.
It's working normally again.
right. OKAY, FINE. WHAT HAPPENED? STOP MAKING USELESS THREADS WITHOUT INFO ABOUT ANYTHING!
and if he had icons, it wouldn't be a crashed explorer.exe, when that goes, it takes all explorer windows, the taskbar/startbar and ALL icons with it, leaving the backround

Dude, chill the fuck down. Explorer didn't run on startup. Hell you told him to start it, it worked, now you bash him because it worked with the info you gave him?
