Alright, so I'm building a comp in a week or so. I loosely followed this example: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/budget-gaming-pc-phenom-ii-radeon-hd-6850,2903.html Here is what I came up with: Only change I made after I screen shotted that was that I swapped out the mobo with this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130293 I like to play games, preferably everything on high. I do some video and photo editing. I'm going to re-use my graphics card it's a GTX-460. My budget is under $640. I've got an Antec 500 watt, which I'd prefer not to re-use, but if needed, I will. Just to stay under budget. Also, windows can be switched to the home edition, if needed. Any parts that I could swap out to give me a more 'bang for your buck' type of deal? Thanks in advanced :)

You probably don't need the extra features that Professional has, but if you do, just re-add it. I assume you're going to be using the HDD as a boot drive so I replaced it with a Spinpoint F3. (Green drives are a no-no for boot drives)
Swap the WD for a Spinpoint F3, if you purchase between now and the 20th you can get the F3 for $49.99 with EMCKDJF27. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822152185 damn ninjas
Alright, will switch to the Samsung Spinpoint f3 [editline]17th June 2011[/editline] And looks like I'll need an after market cooler
hyper 212+ is a good, cheap cooler
Got it. Any more suggestions please
