Oh, neat I guess. Now I can fulfill my dreams of stalking my friends while they're building
Next patch will make the communities favorite mods official, Expect to see classics such as "Mine little pony" And "The girlfriend mod"!
I'd rather they focused on making the core gameplay more engaging than adding fluff.
We still need a rape mod and I can reenact Hollow Man!
The potions and magic stuff kinda took away the class minecraft initially had IMO.
Minecraft was released waaaaaay too early if the combat is more or less unchanged since the last time I played
Dyed armor sounds like a cool little feature.
I'd rather they focused on making the core gameplay more engaging than adding fluff.
I think they may be confusing one for the other.
What a neat little update. Added some pretty cool things.
oh boy another dumb empty boss battle with the shitty combat system minecraft sure has advanced and expanded into a game with depth
Why don't they add actual content that expands upon the game's core rather than adding new mobs here and there
Why not take Battlegear's idea and integrate that as an update? And maybe some better clientside prediction for NPC's so fighting them (and batting back ghastballs) isn't such a pain in SMP The boss mob looks kinda neat, though. Hopefully it means we're going to start seeing rare, naturally occurring boss mobs (ala terraria)
But why would we want boss fights in Minecraft The combat system is super simple and boring anyway, fighting is more of a chore than an enjoyable activity especially when weapons technology in the game never advances past "stronger sword" and the bow and arrow. I already thought that the last boss was a stupid addition that wasn't in any way meaningful to the game and now we get another one?
I think it's nice that Jeb and Dinnerbone are making Minecraft into a complete game. It's still got a ways to go, but it's getting there, which is better than Notch did towards the end.
Oh joy, another annoying boss. The combat's still shit too I see. Aren't there a lot of people out there voicing their criticisms about how horrid the combat is?
where is our modding api
why do people still play this there are free games that have been released fully, with actual combat systems and update regularly
Who cares, everything is worthless until we get actual built-in mod support and ditch the 256 block limit. How long have they promised that? Is it years now?
Minecraft was released waaaaaay too early if the combat is more or less unchanged since the last time I played
I don't think Minecraft will be "Done" for another like 2 years probably, it just has no point to it besides one you make up.
Who cares, everything is worthless until we get actual built-in mod support and ditch the 256 block limit. How long have they promised that? Is it years now?
Block limit was upped to 4096 in version 1.2. Not sure whats going on with Mod API but it was supposedly pushed to 1.3 but I haven't found any evidence that they are working on it yet.
Oh, neat I guess. Now I can fulfill my dreams of stalking my friends while they're building
Do we know if it's an actual invisibility potion, or if it's just an 'enemies don't see you' type of deal, to keep mobs off your back?
Why don't they add actual content that expands upon the game's core rather than adding new mobs here and there
Because, let's be honest, Notch wasn't an exceptional coder and the language he used is quite volatile. I think there's a lot in the game that would spontaneously collapse if you tried touching some of the core code.
Do we know if it's an actual invisibility potion, or if it's just an 'enemies don't see you' type of deal, to keep mobs off your back?
It actually makes you invisible to both mobs and other players.
2spooky
Oh joy, another annoying boss. The combat's still shit too I see. That doesn't look anything like Cerberus. It floats, for fuck's sake.
Invisible creepers. That is all.
Can we get that guy to replace the "final boss" they have now? It looks a lot more like something you'd find roaming the void between dimensions than a goddamn dragon.
Honestly, I knew Minecraft was going down the shitter, but THIS? Free-roaming bosses are welcome, but invisibility is just gonna attract griefers. I mean, really, that's one less thing they need a hacked client for now.
