Title should explain enough.
Mine comes from the Japanese name of the pokemon Samurott, which is one of my most favorite pokemon. I later found out daikennki was the correct (official) spelling, but maybe that sounds weird in English.
My friend gave me his Steam account a couple of years back since it had GMod as CS:S; the only catch was that it was VAC banned from MW2 for hacking. I went through a bunch of different names until going with original account name because my other ones were generic and dumb-sounding. I think it might refer to some anime character, but I wouldn't know honestly.
I tried to put my name as 'Idiotic Sandwich.' That didn't work, so I just typed in the first word that came into my head, which was Spoder. Then I wrote in a random number, which was 55.
I was 13, edgy, and paranoid about a lot of things.
I was a real edgelord on roblox, and NightmareX91 happened.
Now I usually go with meanwhile, which is the name of the final episode of Futurama.
Unatco?
I was making an account for AdventureQuest and needed to put in a username. King Kong (1976) was on tv at the time and I picked a random number at the end because a number was required. I wrote down KingKong and removed the second K-ng. Done.
i actually thought this was how you spell strudel at one point

I took this alias after playing Borderlands 2, Handsome Jack amused me.
Borderlands 2 came out in 2012...
Anyways, mine came from Married With Children. The reality of it is that I had no idea that there was actually a character already named Al Bundy, I just sort of came up with it on a whim when making stupid jokes with a friend of mine. I think we had made Al Bundy the protagonist of a new Deus Ex game or something.
I was thinking about meharryp's (in)famous line about him making shitty Lua hacks for Gmod, I decided I'd put "hax" in my name because of that. The rest I just came up with out of nowhere.
This was years ago, but my mom had created new AOL accounts for me and my brother for reasons I can't remember. She picked my username because I was a big fan of Homestar Runner at the time (it was still updating). Now I've stuck with it ever since.

Damn, forgot you could do that back in the day. :zing:

It's my name.
I'm not very creative with usernames.
My PSN account is named after the keyboard I used to type it in with :v:
It's a song I like.
what noise does a chocobo make?
A stupid non-serious nickname from back along time ago in school. Derived from my first name, Anthony. As far as nicknames go today I go by Whitey (not because I'm Anglo, although I am) but I can't be bothered changing my name here.
i was on the mike tyson boss on i wanna be the guy
i dont even like boxing, what was i thinking
When I was really young, I tried to sign up for an account on LEGO.com and wanted to just name it Kirby. Since Kirby was taken, it suggested Kirby431 as an alternative. When I made my YouTube account, I combined Kirby and Bunny because both of those things are cute. It stuck, because now most of my accounts are named that.
-snip-
When I was young, I played a lot of amateur games made with click 'n' drag programs like The Games Factory, participated in communities where people made games like these and tried making a few games of my own. In one of the Finnish sites I found a game called Madot (the name is "worms" in Finnish). After playing it for a while I got a high score, and when prompted for name, I entered Matoking (or in other words, worm king).
The name stuck around.
Uh, back when ZTV wasn't hacked to hell and back, a friend of mine was doing a Pokémon Leafgreen nuzlocke, and he named a Zubat after me, The Hated, because I was going through my emo phase at the time, and we got into the conversation of final evolutions, and he mentioned "Crobat is a Brobat" and I thought, "Hey, maybe I should pick that up", and I did, eventually adding the -tington suffix for shits and giggles.
Was playing 007 Nightfire on PS2 online, needed a name when I was around 8. I didn't want anything edgy or with numbers in it because I found that shit stupid, so I went with a mixture of my name (Zack) and "rave" at the end due to my liking for certain kinds of EDM. Zadrave.
I'm still really happy about it as it's unique and doesn't sound horrible. I also like the letter Z. Had it for around 12 years now.
facepunch is a forum about garry's mod. larry's nod rhymes with garry's mod.
I just put two words and a number together. (when i was 12 years old :thatwasfunnyright:) I liked robots at the time and i was a man, and i liked the number 5 so i went with what i use today.
I like Diablo 2. It's an enemy from Act 4.
My name's Leo and Leo is my astrological sign so I thought "Leo the Leo" sounded pretty neat.
I used to play star wars jedi academy online when i was a kid. At one point, some girl who was an admin on the server called me an unreliable fuck for attacking people, then running into the hidden compartments on the map and other times being nice, so I took it. I remember her calling me an unreliable fuck, because at 10 years old it was devastating at the time.
I was jailed often in that game
