This looks pretty promising. The water effects are really impressive and immersive; they've clearly put a lot of work into getting the water to look good. The art style in general is a little cartoony, but it doesn't take away from what's going on in my opinion. The grittiness in the character models means it's closer to Dishonored's style than to something like The Old Republic's. However, I'm mildly concerned that the gameplay for most of the crew seemed to be standing on a boat listening to music until they got to their destination and the ship combat started. Running about the ship and fixing stuff is interesting and dynamic, but how much of their time are players expected to spend standing around waiting to play the actual game? Games should be made up of high points and low points, but if I'm picking out a game to play with friends, waiting together isn't the most appealing way to say most of us should spend our time.

I'm looking forward to the next one of these, either way
