So, I have an old as old can be iBook lying around, I use it when I'm on the road, well, to do pretty much nothing except play old NES/SNES games, which is good fun, and I also got Diablo II to work, but beyond that, nothing.
I can't figure out how to access the internet (I type in the password for it, it just says "Can't connect to "Name of connection") And I'd dearly love to be able to do some things with it, I tried installing ubuntu, but a friend of mine says that it won't handle another OS. (Well, who knows? With a 500 MHz PowerPC G3 processor, and 384 megabytes of SDRAM...)
So, can anyone provide me with a fun, new use for this little hulk? Applications, OSes, and more will be highly appreciated :D
bootcamp windows 7, hit up some crysis
You could probably sell it to some hipster kid for $1000
Yep, only need three times the RAM :D
And my copy of Crysis is lost :(

It's using a PPC processor, that's impossible.
Play baseball.
-thought this was regular pch&s, not apple section-
OSes are out of the question. The iBook was practically designed for PPC processors, and if you find anything useful for PPC out of the realm of Mac OS, I'll be surprised.
There is Ubuntu and Xubuntu that have PPC builds. Also, try making an emulator arcade machine, Plans could easily be found on the internet and can be adjusted to the size of the iBook.
Restore it to working condition and sell it on ebay, for any white powerbook in working order you'll get over $100.
Target practice :D
Sell it to me.
Sell it to me!
Give it aids and then sell it!

Unix OS's can't contract aids, only super aids.
Run AmigaOS 4 on it? :v:
Highly doubt it'd work, tho.
Don't most Linux distros come in PPC flavors..?
