I must say, this may as well drop TF2 from its pedestal. I'm liking what I see so far, the characters diverse and unique in their own regard. Any idea if it will be just like in Dota/League of Legends - one character per player, as in, if someone plays Zarya, nobody else can?
No, you can have multiple of each character on a team. To be honest, I'm not sure if I like or dislike that.
I really don't like that bounty hunter guy, his design is the same hat/poncho/beard combo used for just about every western bounty hunter design. I expected something better from Blizzard.
Anybody else think Zarya looks like the Heavy crossed with a stereotypical Tumblr user?
I'm just gonna say it, but none of the characters seem personalised at all, just filled with catchphrases to make them seem unique, and I find that really lazy
I don't like McCree's voice. Sounds way to over-the-top. They should give him a deeper, more gruff voice.
McCree sounds like he's being voiced by Troy Baker.
McCree is an alright design but that belt buckle is stupid as hell Also calling it now people are still going to find some way to say Zarya is a sexist portrayal
There's something about these characters that feel uninspired. I'm not sure why. TF2 characters feel a lot more charismatic to me for instance. Maybe they're just too gimmicky? The revolver guy wearing a poncho and cowboy hat over his high-tech armour looks a bit stupid.

Like you tell Blizzards highly skilled art team to design a bounty hunter for their totally new IP and they make a cowboy with some neon lights on him and some metal bits because ~~~~futuristic~~~~
I had Moby Francke give a speech and design lesson at my school last weekend and I don't think people realize how much work and love was put into the design of the Team Fortress characters. That man is a god. Blizzard gas become very corporate and although they atleast take pride and have their shit polished, i think they like to play it safe with designs.

She's stocky and muscular, but not totally jacked up. Still has that breast-plate "dip in the middle" thing going on, but the colors/design of her suit doesn't overly emphasize it, so her suit on the whole feels fairly practical. It's a big step in the right direction if anything. ...Posted before seeing the PCGamesN thread, where people are arguing over her design. Oy. v:v:v
