Why did we even bother with r18
Who even imitates taking alien drugs, who even imitates anything from games at all, this censorship is fucking dumb

"feel free to stick an anal probe up peoples butts but GOD FORBID you witness fake space drugs giving you superpowers, we'd hate for you to take some space drugs in real life!"
And if you're playing it on PC, you can mod it out in roughly 8.434 seconds.
If this gets an R18+, it might hurt the twelve year olds who aren't supposed to play it! Think of the children!!

I like how SR4 can't have completely fictional drugs, but Fallout 3 got away with real drugs because they changed the names
The Boys are Back in Town came on on the radio
Boys are back in town is in the game

The censorship here is so inconsistent and random sometimes it feels like they just pick and choose what to ban for the fun of it
Actually that's exactly how it is they don't fucking care
Mortal Kombat and Left 4 Dead get censored and banned for gore but Dead Space, Gears of War and Prototype are just dandy?
In Dead Space 2 there is a level where you go through a blood soaked school and dismember mutated gore beast children and demon babies.
Approved and sold
In Prototype 1 and 2 the main way to gain health is to grab humans and fucking tear them in half then eat them
(a preorder bonus for P2 was the ability to actually grab somebody by the sides and tear them vertically in half, it was metal as fuck)

tell me that's not metal as fuck

Seriously though, shit like this just proves that the R18 rating was just a colossal waste of time. What's the point of having it if these dumbasses are STILL going to ban your game or force you to heavily alter the original game itself. Jesus, the classifications board is like the most overprotective nanny in the world....its fucking sickening.
hurr i should read the last sentence

Prototype was great. Finally a game about being the baddest superhero ever.

Sucks nobody bought 2 and they aren't making another one

Once I got past the initial rush and novelty of the superpowers it became a very tedious game to play with really bad writing. Their design decisions were not amazing.
Q: How do you make a game difficult for someone who has awesome amazing superpowers?
A: Infinite respawning enemies who can all stun-lock the player before they can do anything. (And, in the case of the final boss, a really cheap one-hit-kill attack that may or may not be properly telegraphed before it happens.)
The worst part is that they downgraded it from even R18+ to MA15+. If it was THAT BAD, just give it the R18+ rating as opposed to MA15+. It's literally why it exists.

How did you get bored of the powers when they introduce more as you progress
Also they made it hard with huge bosses and ranged attacks like missles and bullets, if you breezed through prototype with no difficulty you must have been on very easy or upgraded the fuck out of yourself before doing missions
Humans won't do shit against you but that's why there are plenty of heavy vehicles and big monsters thrown into it
ACB need some major reforms and to close the bridge from treating video games like its a child, I want to see it treated like movies or tv shows.
The person judging SR4 must of been really high to RC it then RC it 2 more times before stamping it with an MA15+ disclaimer

I'll just import my copy
What pisses me off is how GTAV went through NO FUCKING TROUBLE AT ALL to get classified in AU. A game involving REAL DRUGS in fucking LA! But ok. The silly alien narcotics aren't right, but actual cocaine frenzied movie stars, now that's ok. It's silly, cartoon violence and nonsense, leave it alone.

So far R18 is just a relabelled 15. Everything seems even more watered down.

I just found all of the challenge in the game to be really cheap and contrived. It was difficult but not for the right reasons. The boss battles were really long, tedious bouts. I remember the fight with [sp]Elizabeth Greene[/sp] lasting something like an hour because it was basically "Okay, I need to somehow attack this person so I need to get up all close, get a few hits in, let all her homing attacks hit me at once, and then run away again so that I can heal up. Do this for 4 stages, each lasting roughly 15 minutes to complete." You'd think after the first 2 stages they'd change it up, but no it just winds up being boring repetitive tedium.
Didn't they add voicelines for Niko in GTA IV for when he's drunk driving like "I really shouldn't be doing this" because of a near censorship?

Nobody bought 2?
I mean, it was more less the same game but it was still p. badass.
