Recently i have simpily started to get fed up with my phone (Nokia 5800 XpressMusic), with errors all the time such as; memory full close some apps(yet i only have one app open) or when i download an app it says that .sis is not compatable with the phone yet the phone uses .sis.I have about £200 ans i would like your suggstions on a phone.I am currently looking the Nokia N8, Sony erricson xperia x2 or x10 mini pro.Any suggestions of phones please post below.
Nokia N8 or a Blackberry Torch. My torch is really great and I cant fault it. Or maybe a HTC Desire.
HTC Wildfire. My cousin has one and it's awesome. If you can afford it get the S version if it though.
Try if you can find a ZTE Blade.
I paid 117.60€ for mine and the thing's a pretty damn good budget Android phone.
Isn't the ZTE Blade around that price?

Fuck you nikomo
Don't get the wildfire, the processor is shit and so is the display.
I would really recomend the ZTE Blade.

If you need any help rooting, flashing ROMS or generaly dicking around with that phone, don't hesitate to ask in the Android thread.
Shouldnt need help flashing Roms as i just finished my work experience at a phone shop.
Shouldnt need help flashing Roms as i just finished my work experience at a phone shop.
Was it a phone shop for a major carrier? because I can't imagine them doing much flashing.
no just a general phone shop doing pretty much everything, selling phones, buying phones ,fixing phones, unlocking phones, flashing and randomly buying gold :s
fuuuuu... i had a 'Fatal-Error '
one of the new dual cores

Please don't get any of the phones you listed in the OP.

Try to stay away from LG.
I would seriously stick with Android, its the king of budget phones right now.
why,whats so had about it*'?
Weird shaped screen (non-standard etc.)
Pretty old
Dead OS
Amongst other things
A second hand Galaxy S is the best you can get for that budget :)
Stick with an Android, Blackberry or iOS device in these days.
well thanks for the pointer.

Try running Mr Pigfish if they have a demo unit in the store, it will tell you whether you have the OLED or TFT version.
Oh and by the way dont suggest an sony ericson unless you know where i can get and unlocked one from as the servers are down on all sony erricson unlocking equiptment.

They're awful anyway (with the exception of the 2011 range, the play, neo, arc etc.)

The X10 mini and mini pro should have never existed, what's the point of a touch screen that small.
We call HTC phones THC phones.

The N8 has the best camera on the market but the interface isn't exactly fantastic, though it will get updated, the X10 mini pro is lame and the X2 uses incredibly outdated hardware (same as the X1)
Also, just because the phone uses .sis doesn't mean it can install everything, you might either have outdated firmware or just an outdated phone.
If you're a Nokia guy, then you're fucked because while there are some nice phones they have (if you're into Symbian), none of them fit in your budget. And the N9 isn't out yet and also doesn't fit in your budget.

same shit as the whole corby line, a budget touch screen dumbphone
the only problem with it is that it ruins the capabilities of the android OS running on it

Im not a nokia guy or in any matter im not any type of phone guy i just get whats good and i can afford.
Also i just thought with the phone using .sis i would be common sense for it to be able to install all (most).sis ,for example look at a pc with .exe,it can install most .exe.unlike with the nokia i can now barely finjd any apps that are .sis and ica install.
.sis is just a dumb package format if I remember correctly.
You have to go on sites that actually only show apps that support the version of the OS you're running on.
Oh and fuck Symbian.
Just go Android, get the Orange San Francisco, install CyanogenMod, you'll feel a sense of relief knowing you've made a good choice.
Fuck, when I got my ZTE Blade, it felt (what I assume to be) like a religious experience.
It's a sense of knowing you have just done something good that doesn't happen often in your life.
It's like standing on a burning oil platform. Either you let the flames consume you (stick with Nokia) or you jump into waters and get rescued (switch to Android).
(Yeah I just paraphrased Nokia's CEO, fuck that dick, I wanted a bloody job there when I grow up)
