The demo was pretty fun, but I really hated the camera controls. I feel like I fuck up most of the time because I'm struggling to position the camera at an adequate angle.
there is a very good reason it's the top selling game. it's fun, gorgeous, can run on any old toaster, and has old soviet trucks recreated very-life like. The mud and shit is also pretty damn realistic. Plus, the devs are very open to modding. I feel like the game is worth more than what they're asking, but that's just my opinion.
this game is fun as fuck, i dont get it.
I can't wait for a cockpit view to be added via either modding or the developers themselves
I love this, I bought it myself but I really hate how the camera works. The camera controls makes it almost unbearable to play
One of the best coop experiences of the year.

Had some hilarious times with me and my friend trying to get a kamaz with a garage trailer to the far eastern edge of river to get the garage out there supplied. At one point I winched to him to pull him forward at just the right distance to make my truck go flying, clear the trailer and gett stuck upside down on a nearby hill.
But this is definitely the most fun i've had in a co-op game in a long time. Rescues on hardcore are intense, trying to tow your friend's dead UAZ back to the nearest garage.
Welp, seems like I am buying it tonight after I am done formatting my PC.

Fuck the KAMAZ. It's too low over the ground, it's cab-over design means 60% of the unloaded weight is right over the front wheels, and it takes damage from every god damn impact. I rather drive the blue rear-wheel-only ZIS truck than the piece of shit KAMAZ.
This is such a strangely fun game, I have yet to actually move a load of wood though :( Keep getting stuck or tipping over.
the tech demo ran amazingly on my old, trash computer. It's amazing how well optimized this game is. If I had money I would definitely buy the full version.
So what is this game, whats the point, it looks cool but is it racing/simulator or just fucking around?

It's one of those games that have a really good engine and really good ideas but the actual "game" part isn't really fleshed out that much. You go around a map unlocking vehicles, finding stuff, and hauling loads (mostly logs) from place to place.
It doesn't have a lot of depth, but I think it has plenty of replayability and mod support will make it very much worth $30.
Kinda a tech demo turned game really. I mean, far as I know you can still get its demo somewhere. I want it myself, but I just can't justify putting out $30 on it.
It looks cool I guess. I can't imagine it being fun for more than a couple hours. Certainly not something worth $30.
