I made a thread on here a few days ago asking for some new in ear headphones because mine kept breaking. I ended up buying the logitech ultimate ears 200. Alright sound quality, but after one DAY, they have broken in one ear and now its much much softer than the other side. I am extremely pissed, and hereby am declaring war on all non rugged in ear headphones. I didnt treat them like shit, i was careful when putting them in my pocket, and didnt stretch the wire or anything, so why the hell do this happen?
I need some in ear headphones that are completely idiot proof because clearly i must be an idiot because all my earphones keep breaking. Nothing really expensive, but for god sakes it has to be able to be able to get stretched tangled etc without dimming in one ear or breaking completely.
My Ultimate Ears 5vi broke within a month of useage. There is no sound comming from the right side. I would send it back but then the shipping would cost more than buying a new IEM.
Go get some earbuds from Ministry Of Sound. They're made for aggressive clubbers and has one of those springy loops so it's stretchable. If you're a bass head the bass is quite strong too.
Where can I get those in australia?

Get these, they have more bass then Dr. Dre and any other in ear head phone for that price, and they didn't break for me when I used them for 3 months. Still using them.
omg bass sounds so good XD

what's your budget, OP?
Under $60 australian dollars. however converting US prices to aus prices wont mean anything cause all tech prices are jacked up here heaps. Those ministry of sound headphones look awesome but i dont know where i can get them here and i dont fancy waiting a month for them to ship here.

Have you had any experience with the ministry of sound heaphones? I really like the styling and at that price I don't need amazing sound, just something that will last a decent amount of time, and sound decent.

Well if you need it to last long, I don't recommend you getting the cheapest one because the build quality on the wire is abit clumsy but easily fixable.
Get sennhiser CX300's
Good earbuds that are comfortable, good quality, and I've had my pair for over 2-3 years now and they are still working perfect.
I used to have a big issue with my headphones always dieing out or losing signal after about a year or so, these ones have lasted.
Best part is that they are under $30-40 US
Too bad theyre $80 australian and the australian dollar is worth MORE than the US dollar...
Take a look at basically any IEM made by Shure.
I've owned a few of their inner ear monitors over the years and they've all stood the test of time.
The last model I owned had around 5000 hours put into them and I used them extensively for cutting grass, exercising and winter activities (the wire would get stiff in -40 degree Celsius weather but they would function just fine and were never damaged by the cold).
They've also got a great warranty; after a couple of years of use/abuse my original E2Cs developed a crack in the cabling so they shipped me a new pair without any fees, no questions asked.
