Will post back with a review when mine arrives. Just thought I would share with everyone else the offer, theres also the 3XL version for £150' at HMV which comes with a free pair of headphones, they seem pretty promising.
Seems like ad. if you ask me. Are you selling 1 used on amazon?
Nope, I'm not selling, its Amazon retail. They have 14 left in stock or something.
Dispatched from and sold by Amazon.co.uk
Its amazing, you can feel the 8" bass driver - worth a purchase if you have the money
120W power for that price is ridiculously poor. Reviews also state the sound quality is nothing that good and really aren't that good a speaker set. You'd do far better with a nice pair of 2.1 speakers like the Altec Lansing MX6021 or Klipsch Promedia.
I was listening to the Klipsch Promedia speakers a few days ago and I was far from impressed for the price. I'm still partial to the old Logitech Z-2300 2.1's, it's a shame logitech has nuetered all their current computer speaker options. When I get up the energy I am going to build myself my own 2.1 setup for my setup.
I'll admit I haven't actually heard them, but they're recommended by a lot of people.
Well pickings in the 2.1 speaker category are pretty limited, I personally would go with the Logitech Z623's if I had to buy a new set right now. The Klipsch just didn't have a nice clean high end to me, and the bass, like all computer speakers and cheap subwoofers is boomer without much finesse. The logitech, while suffering from boomy cheap subwoofer bass does at least have a nicer performance when it comes to high frequencies
