• Files refuse to delete

My external drive has 2 folders on it that refuse to delete: When I try to delete them with standard "Right-Click > Delete" I get this: The problem is I have UAC disabled. I tried creating a simple batch file to remove them (and running that as an administrator)
del "36d22638c08c8806cc4e520adf098a" del "dafc47d6db972cf2974331" @pause
It just fails. Any ideas on what I can do? Also: Both folders contain a folder called "update" contents from both below: [img_thumb]http://a.imageshack.us/img829/1806/capture2e.jpg[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://a.imageshack.us/img248/8681/capture3br.jpg[/img_thumb]
download the program called wholockme. It should tell you why your files are locked and how to unlock them.
It's a virus. Get malwarebytes.
It's definetely not a virus, it seems that the files are still accessed by either the external harddrive or your system, and that's the reason why you can't delete them. I also suggest to download wholockme.
Unlocker, get it, find out what's locking it. It can also delete those files and unlock them.
It's a virus. Get malwarebytes.
Let's not jump to conclusions just because of the weird file name and such.
Unlocker, get it, find out what's locking it. It can also delete those files and unlock them.
This worked. Unlocker didn't detect anything locking it, but just deleted it anyway. THANKS!
