I foresee a great future for Bitcoin.

[editline]19th February 2013[/editline] And I'm using Imageshack for a Getty Image?!? So many broken rules...
Good luck with that
Last month alone we removed over 14 million links to pirated material.
That were most likely replaced within hours.
I think it's ridiculous enough that PayPal doesn't allow transfer of funds for weapons, porn and so many other things that are pretty normal. I mean you can't even buy pepper spray and pay with PayPal. If the CC companies are going to start doing the same shit, stuff is gonna be annoying.
This isn't a good thing. While sure, supplying money to an illegal activity isn't good, the problem I have is that they are allowed to make such blocks by themselves. Visa and Mastercard can, in their current state of power, easily direct any and all markets however they want, because they are so global and widely used. In my opinion, they shouldn't be allowed to put up a block, on anything really, unless ordered by a court. Since if your store or onlineshop gets blocked by them, you're fucked. There was a case for a few months ago were Visa, Mastercard and PayPal had blocked some guys webshop were he sold old movies. He wasn't doing anything illegal, but the reason he was blocked was because some of the movies were violent and/or had sex in them. Which the 3 big companies didn't like because it wasn't "ethical". They should not be allowed to have this kind of power. (In the end by the way, they removed the blocks from his site after multiple newssites and magazines wrote stories about it.)
I foresee a great future for Bitcoin.
I was just thinking that. This rings clearly of a need for an anonymous currency outside the control of governments. Here's to hoping that Bitcoin exchanging won't be made illegal.

I would imagine most pirate "make money" through ad.fly. I wouldn't be surprised though. Hell, I was looking for a tutorial on how to port cars to GTA. I found an ad.fly link linking to a YouTube video.=/
You are doing it wrong already if you are searching for torrent sites on google anyway... 90% of the sites there are viruses
Piracy is like the Lernaean Hydra. Cut off one head and two will take it's place.
Piracy is like the Lernaean Hydra. Cut off one head and two will take it's place.
except those two heads are far enough away from normal people to scare them but not draw them in
