It started innocently enough, computerized ignition. That one is fine when it works. Then, fuel injection became popular, so we needed a computer for that. Then, ABS. Then, traction control.. Nowadays there's more computers in the typical family sedan than there are in a mom-and-pop PC store!

I got my first phone when I was 15. It was beat up, third hand and outdated, but I begged incessantly for it for months. 13 is too young, 15 was pushing it. (Ironically, I'm now toting a high-end Android Smartphone and I'm only 17. It's handy as hell though).

Earbuds are the best thing ever. Fuck earphones like the ones that come with the iPod, but earBUDS are the best thing ever. Supreme noise cancellation, comfort and sound quality for a fraction of the price of a pair of circumaurals? Yes please.

Totally agree about texting though.

I agree with the earbuds thing, but mine kind of wrap around your ear, then the ear bud goes into your ear, easily. Plus, they sound awesome, and good noise cancellation. They tend to actually stay in your ear, apposed to regular ear buds require me to stand still for them to stay in, or shove them into my brain.

I wonder who thought that making the already slow mopeds wider and larger in order to effectively block roads sure was a genius!

I've not driven once since I got my license without one of these fuckers blocking my way driving almost in the middle of the road 45km/h on a 80km/h road.

And you only need to pass the test-paper part to get a license, no driving lessons or anything, so the drivers sure are great!

And more explanation in case things are different in other countries:
In Finland, those things are legally prohibited from going faster than 45km/h (around 28mph) and are allowed to drive on any roads that have a speed limit of 80km/h (around 50mph) or below.
