Right so a friend of mine asked me to throw him a computer together with a budget of $1200 he didn't need a mouse/keyboard/monitor anything like that just the computer itself. I was wondering if you guys could critique the build, tell me if there's anything cheaper for the same performance that kind of thing. Any input would be greatly appreciated this is only the second computer I've thrown together.

Looks good to me, I'm building this build for my friend.
looks good to me, it might just be because I've used it a lot, but you might wanna consider getting two Radeon Hd 6850s and go with a CrossfireX build. I really like the 6850s though, so I might just be biased.
Never crossfire first, always buy big.
Only recommendation I can really make is to go with a lower wattage psu either from the same brand or from another reliable company.
Yeah, that PSU is overkill. You could get along just fine with a cheaper 500W PSU. Just make sure it's not an IED from a manufacturer like Logisys.
