The games console origins are really obvious with the lack of communication features.
The games console origins are really obvious with the lack of communication features.
No general location-based chat, whispers are disabled by default, no PvP chat. For a game whose endgame is all about teamwork to do shit like nightfalls and raids you'd think they'd let you go "ayy any of you fuckers want to do a quick nightfall with me" in the social spaces or something. I don't want to spend 16-17 minutes waiting to play a guided Nightfall because I have no friends, but that's the only real option unless I leave the game and go to external sites to look for people. Hopefully clan chat helps clear this up so I can go "hey, any of you guys wanna blow through the Nightfall real quick" and get some potential "yeah sure let me join you" but even then having a regional LFG chat so smaller clans aren't fucked out of that benefit would be very nice.
