My parents have this printer that they wan't to connect, i can do it via a USB cable but i don't know how to make it wireless.
I did it back when they had vista.
I have the installation CD for it but it contains .DLL files. Linux can't run that. (I think? If it can how do i do that?)

can you use it a a network printer?
If not, how on earth can you expect us to help if you don't even tell us what printer it is?

Sorry, it's a HP deskjet 3050 all-in-one series.
I used CUPS, and it worked so i am fine from here now.
Use HPLIP, You get things like ink stats and such.

If you have CUPS set up, then I wouldn't worry too much.
