Video games (flash game or both) About civilizations and expansion.

I want to know if such a game exists, where you start a civilization or empire, you choose the politics and military, and all kinds of stuff on a global level. Simular to strategy games like civilization or age of empires, but a bit more "advanced" if I am using the right term.

You might check out Defcon.

It's a strategy game, but I wouldn't say it's any more advance than something like Civilization. I actually haven't sat down and played a game of it, other than the tutorial, but it seems like one of those games that could take a couple hours to beat.

DEFCON isn't really about civilization and expansion. It's more about just killing everyone with nuclear missiles.
