1v1 and 3v3 are fun as fuck but imo 3v3 is not one of the best things

It might be fun if you have 2 friends with you, but otherwise don't touch it. Much like the rest of the OW playerbase, they really don't want to work as a team.

eh, the real problem is that there's always an ana and roadhog in almost every game

Worser yet, I had a Roadhog/Soldier/Mercy team, and the Mercy was a Lv.80 that was obviously boosting the other two.
I was 19 or 20 at the time, my friend was 25 and the other guy was doing the free weekend thing so... Yeah, not fun at all.
Bonus round: next game, we got the same party.

probably because they're the most effective.
Imo 3v3 and 1v1 play horribly in Overwatch. In 3v3 the most effective heroes are the ones that can stun and/or heal themselves. and in 1v1 some of the classes are literally who can hit first (winston, bastion, reaper, reinherdt symmetra)

If you watch it from a fairly inexperienced view of the game, then yes, some of those heroes are hit first.
If you think about it slightly though:
Winston isn't, since it's actually a matter of who can hit the most jump packs while holding down left click.
Bastion definitely isn't, since you can just heal back up? Don't need to rush into the enemy and sit around in Siege Mode, you can do some decent damage just in Recon Mode.
Reaper isn't either, it's actually more a case of who has the better aim. Even though my enemy might hit me with a decent 50 damage left click, I can just straight up headshot him and kill him instantly.
Reinhardt definitely isn't. It's a matter of who hits the most Fire Strikes. If you don't hit any but I do, you just lose.
Symmetra is probably one of the only ones I could slightly agree with you on, but even then, with Symmetras high amount of shield HP, you can sometimes dodge out of the enemies laser fire and regen your shield and still win, even though he got to left click you first. It's also a matter of who manages to get the most turret damage onto the enemy, BEFORE either of you gets to left click the other.

I had one guy just sit in spawn as symmetra. with turrets.
Couldn't deal enough damage to actually affect symmetra's health.
I miss all mei in quick play :(
1v1 is fun since it's quick, random and symmetrical but 3v3 gets old pretty fast.
3v3 needs [i]massively reworked characters[/i] to have any semblance of balance or fun.

her new changes give her goddess status in 3v3 and no one else plays her. She's wickedly powerful in that mode in my experience.

Dude, that might have been me. I'm a level 80 Mercy and I have two constant friends who play Roadhog and Soldier in our 3v3's and we once got paired up with the same group we just stomped
