Anyone that has rainmeter, please answer my question.
When I press the "Show desktop" button in the bottom right corner, rainmeter gets hidden too. Is there a way to make it visible when clicking Show desktop?

Upgrade to latest beta (1.3), then right-click on skin -> Position -> On Desktop.

You don't need the beta version. The latest stable release also supports this feature.
Setting the position to "On Desktop" is the same as setting the option "AlwaysOnTop=-2" for the skin in your Rainmeter config file.
