Hell yeah, more Linux games. I nearly bought this immediately after I saw it, but then I realized there's a sale coming up.
I might buy this, looks good.

Feels quite different compared to the first game, but it does have its moments.
This is a great game and I recommend it very much.
Game's good up until it's final act, where it turns to shit all of a sudden, but then the very climax is cool again.
Holy crap! I know it's been said year after year, but this really is the year of the Linux desktop.

I think Metro 2033 was better, I enjoyed it much more.
Metro 2033 was definitely better but Metro Last Light is still excellent.
Both are fantastic games.
the poorly written female character(s) in this game ruined the whole thing for me
Why did they make stealth easier? I thought I was really good at stealth since nobody has ever seen me but it turns out that I can walk right in front of them in the dark or play the piano they're at and they won't find me. Taking out the broken glass and making the cans play a much less part was a bad design move IMO

to be fair they're also pretty weirdly subservient in the novel

To be fair, I didn't like how ambiguous it was whether you were visible or not in 2033. The switch to a binary visible/invisible system made it much less annoying, if easier.
Welcome to the Metro, Linux users! Here's your Shambler, now eh, do me a huge favor and clear out those nosalises in the north tunnels yeah?
