Hi guys,
My laptop can run most games at max settings really well but suddenly I can't run any game at max settings anymore.
I get random fps drops from 60 fps to 10 fps. I have re installed the drivers for my gpu but nothing seems to solve this.

Read it through and tried some of the stuff there but nothing worked.

Your laptop has 2 graphics cards to choose from, the Intel one being the weaker, more battery-saving one. It's most likely it's swapped to the Intel HD graphics. You should be able to change this from the graphics control panel or the BIOS

Nope, my amd gpu is the one enabled.
You definitely sure? Try running a game in a window and open task manager next to it so you can see it when you're playing, and see if the CPU goes up when the game starts slowing down. It's possible there's a program in the background that's slowing it down

Yeah I'm sure, I'm going to try that but I already shut down processes with task manager and still have the same issue.

While playing css my cpu goes to 40% which seems alot, ram is normal though
I'd say a reformat would be best but you'd be fucked if it didn't fix it
I mean, after all, if you just can't find anything, that's the last resort.
Yeah.. So much work to format though..
Had this issue once, check your RAM usage while being in a game.
