So my friends PSU went out, and the original one that he had is out of stock - and he needs increased watts anyway. However, his old power supply, a Corsair CX500 that is now out of stock had ATX12v 2.3, however all power supplies of 550w that we can find only appear to support ATX12v 2.2, does this make a difference at all? His specs are as follows:
Asus M4N68T-M LE V2
4GB Value RAM (woo)
250GB HDD
DVD Drive
AMD HD Radeon 6850
AMD Phenom II x4 840
Tenda Wireless Adapter.
Will he have to get a power supply with ATX12v 2.3, or will ATX12v 2.2 be OK?
Here's the PSU in question: Link!
So will that be OK for his system, and if not can you suggest something in the similar price range that will be? Also 550W or more, as he plans to upgrade.
Thanks in advance!
Shouldn't mean a thing, really.

doesn't really mean anything
a CX500 was fine for that system, unless he's upgrading to the point where it's more like moving it to a new system
but the XFX is a better choice
