yea so i saw that on this pair of banana plugs they claim to have "ferromanganese" tips.
since i have no fucking clue what that is, aside from some technical jibberish on wikipedia, I'd like to know some examples if the compound being applied elsewhere so that i can reference it's use in these plugs and determine if it's silly marketing bullshit or something good.
Looks more like a marketing gimmick more than anything else
Apparently it just something they add to steel to remove oxygen from it during manufacturing.
It's about as important as stating that the tips are made of steel. :v:
