I would enter, but I've already got it and really cant be bothered to try and ship it off to someone else that will probably already have it, infact, I think that most people have it already so no one is going to want it.

Also, this looks like another "I made an awesome forum! Join now and we can be nerds together!" Good luck with this, I stopped trying this game years ago buddy, give up before its too late and you get sucked into believing that you can actually make this work. It just wont.

In my opinion, It all depends on if you have the patience and the money. If you have neither, you will fail yes.

Starting up is the hardest part and kills alot of forums off before it's even started, hey some don't even get anywhere till their first year or two, I'm trying to bring something unique instead of just another one of these forums and I hope to be doing these competions on a regular basis

I agree, where I went wrong all those years ago was that I had no money backing me, used a free forum host and started with no more than 3 friends. Personally I think the best way to get it up and running is to be selling something to your audience, instead of just "come talk to each other here" we already do that here. Give them a server to play on, invest in something that the users can use. As I said, a server on gmod or battlefield is always a good option.

I'm pretty much doing this solo at the moment, I've not long finished this, well it still needs work but I created this forum 3 days ago and just launched it in advertising to different forums today (APB, WoW, Facepunch etc)

Servers and such are going to be something I will be looking into
