I was wondering which program is the best to record game play like Team Fortress 2. I was thinking of using Fraps but I saw the big "FRAPS" on the screen and decided against. What are some great game recorders? Thanks in advance!

Pay for FRAPS. It's worth it.

Source recorder for Source games. Full Fraps for everything else.

I payed for fraps. Quality is 100%, no compression at all. Then I got wegame, quite compressed and low res video but you don't lag at all while recoding. But then I got XFire. The video recorder there let me record 1080p resolution videos with only about 10fps drop. It's incredible.
If you just want TF2, then use Source Recorder. You get very little lag, if any when recording the demo, then when you actually record it you can leave the computer to do it's thing (Don't touch anything until the video stops recording). You get a perfect 30 FPS, depending on the format (I use XVID) you get smaller file size, if the file size is still too large you can use http://www.h264encoder.com/
I think FRAPS is extremely bad. Honestly. Yes, it does record and take snapshots, records at 100/60fps. The files are HUGE and you have to convert them to make them smaller. Now you can get Wegame, which is completely FREE, and records at 30fps at a much lower file size and still a great quality video. Takes snapshots too. http://www.wegame.com

I delete them when I'm done.. problem solved.
