I'm here to nep Neps and eat pudding.
And I'm all out of pudding
I'm currently playing it on PS4 and they changed a lot from the Re;Birth series.
Combos are actually combos now and some of them have pre-requisites to use. EXE is reset at the beginning of every fight and you need one bar of it to make a character go into HDD form(it's easier to build up now) so now it doesn't take your SP. You have party attacks which rely on your positioning around an enemy and EXE but they don't use SP. Movement is reduced so now you can't get super good positioning like you could before. HP and SP don't refill when you level up, only when you visit a town. Status effects (poison, virus, etc.) don't end when the battle ends, only when you take medicine or it runs out after several turns. Leveling up feels slower but the game feels more balanced since you usually get a new attack each time you level up. Enemies aren't as easily steamrolled but I have not had a game over yet. There's a bigger emphasis on buying potions and stuff now.
I don't know how it is on PC, but japanese voices are FREE DLC. The problem is that it only registers when you load a save so you have to hear the DISGUSTING AMERICAN voices whenever you boot up the game.
I still like the game though. It doesn't feel as grindy as the other games but I still go back and run through a dungeon again even though I won't gain enough XP to level up again but I'll definitely level up in the next dungeon
Ah yes, the best game has arrived on Steam.
I should really get around to beating the first game and actually playing the other 2 :/
I've had them for fucking months.
Still, I can't say no to more nep nep.
Insta-buy.

You don't really HAVE to beat them, and it might be hard to go back once you play this one.
The upgraded art/cg reminds me of Fairy Fencer.

Well I like to know the whole story even if the connection between the games is not that important. I like to understand things when they reference events and stuff.
I won't play this until I play the others.
This one actually references the previous games. There's a piece of throwaway dialogue in re;birth 3 that explains why adult Nep is in this game.
Adult Nep makes my kokoro go doki doki
