• Overclocking possibility?

Hello, I have an ATI Powercolor HD 5850. This is what my CCC looks like right now. I just did a fresh install of the OS and I have only an antivirus running. I am not sure what normal idle temps is for this card, or under load temps; I couldn't find any. Would it be safe to play with these options a LITTLE bit? Or not?
That looks about right. [editline]06:46PM[/editline] Only play around with those if you want to over/under clock your system, if you don't want to do that, don't mess with those.
Overclocking a computer part can significantly reduce the life span of the item. You can also lose warranty in some cases. An idle temperature of 58C (136.4F) is not that high in my eyes, as long as the temperature does not go past 68C (154.4F) during heavy load, because at that point the performance of the graphics card goes down. If you do not know how to overclock or you do not know the consequences I suggest not doing it.
Wow. I love this forum. 2 minutes to get a response here, when it takes DAYS elsewhere. Thanks guys. I'll check out load temps and suggest accordingly, if there's some way. Is there any way? Or will ATI's driver adjust accordingly?
Tomshardware.com is a good place to start.
