Alright, so basically I haven't played a new game from 2005 and honestly it's pissing me off. I've decided to man up, and finally save some dosh and buy this stuff.
Things I don't need: OS, HD, monitor, keyboard, mouse. I may or may not need a case. (I think this is all correct.)
Here's what I have so far.

And here's my case. It's really ugly. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811105113
I currently have 2048mb of RAM, not sure if it's DDR3 but let's assume it's not. I have Windows 7 Ultimate, and a 1TB HD.
The total is mainly 50$~ low to allow you guys to improve it without causing worry over the price.
And a dxdiag thing.

The things I want to play, well, if it can run Battlefield 3 it can probably run the others. :v:

Hello? Heading off now but will be back later.

Also I don't intend to use AA or AF in games, which should improve the performance a lot.
microATX motherboard?

A guy had it in his setup with most of what I have too, plus my case supports ATX motherboards only I think. :v:
Not sure if it would support the micro one though, which is why I made a thread, to fix any errors...
why athlon 640 when the phenom 955 is like 20 bucks more?
and you can get a corsair psu for the same amount of dosh

Phenom 955 is an upgrade to the Athlon 640 I suppose? I'll change it! Thanks. :v:
Yeah, I honestly don't see why you'd actually spend money on an athlon when the 955 pretty much costs just as much.
The 955 will still be able to run all games very well for a long while, as long as you have a gpu which can handle them.
Would all of these be compatible with eachother and the case? Like I'd just get them, install them, and finally play a game?

You think this will play the games in the OP okay? At near-max settings maybe? :v:
Sais that the memory socket is DDR2, so no.
I'm not sure what budget motherboard would be good, wait for someone more literate to reply.
Although if to stick with biostar, this looks just fine, just no room for future upgrades other then the gpu.

Alright. :v:

Seems to work in replacement of the current mobo?
It will work, although i would consider getting something with four memory slots, and if you can also another pci-e 16x slot.
Well if you can.
8gb of DDR3 would be more than enough I think, but this will do until I save up some major dosh.
Here is the current thing...and to be clear, this is all compatible with the case and eachother? :v:

Sorry, went to bed as it was getting quite late. Well the parts will fit, most certainly, and the case supports full ATX so it will fit in that too, as the motherboard is an micro-atx board. You'll have plenty of room.
Thank you sir! I guess this will be the parts I'll buy then.
