It opens the right-click menu.
It's right click for if you don't have a mouse (or disabled and can't use a mouse)
Can you use it for a bind? like "bind menu +use" or something
So , if i have the mouse i can't use it?
You can use it either way.
So , if i have the mouse i can't use it?
You can use it with a mouse, but it's kind of obsolete unless your right mouse buttons exploded or something. oops looks like i got beaten oh well
I used it to see what it does. It is a pretty useless key.
I use it all the time at work. Computers fail to recognize my KVM mouse fairly frequently. So I use tab and the menu button instead of actually walking off to go grab another mouse. On a working computer however, it's fairly useless.
I use for ACE in arma, before that, I never knew it exisisted.
I just did. I never noticed it before.
My keyboard doesn't even have this key
Mine opens a menu which starts off screen in the top left, I can only see the bottom right of it which says "ement". I'm assuming this is the end of "Inspect Element"
My keyboard doesn't even have this key
You may have it as a 2nd function of another key.
When I don't feel like using a mouse, or my G500 craps out on me, I can get around a Windows computer almost purely on a keyboard, and that button is a life saver.
You may have it as a 2nd function of another key.
IBM model M I don't think so, it doesn't even have a windows key :v:
I didn't think this key did anything until i turned off Game Mode on my G15 haha
Probably a hang over from when PC's didn't always come with a mouse?
I've used it before when my mouse randomly stopped working one time. I had to figure out how to finish up what I was doing without my mouse then close the program and reboot Windows before my mouse would work again. I also hit it on accident fairly often trying to hit my windows key or ctrl.
It's one of those buttons along with the Windows button that are always there but no one uses them.
It's one of those buttons along with the Windows button that are always there but no one uses them.
If you never use the windows button, you're missing out.
what the hell, I use my mouse and I still use this key all the time. I thought everyone used it
It's useful when you need to do something with the right click menu, but you don't want to mess up your typing rhythm; eg. coding.
Genuinely never seen it before until you just pointed it out. I'm so unobservant.
You may have it as a 2nd function of another key.
Its a second function of my numpads 0. [editline]20th June 2013[/editline] Being fully honest I used to think it was some sort of filing cabinet
I always use it on my school to look geeky for some reason. Or when I'm lazy and need to highlight a row of text and copy it.
I probably will now.
If you never use the windows button, you're missing out.
I only use the windows button when a game crashes and I can't get it to close.
My laptop's keyboard doesn't have it, not even as an extra key function thing :v:
I never realized I had a key like this until now. Jesus titty fucking christ.
