the video is from march 21st, so it kinda says something about the legitimacy of the whole thing

Ghost could just be another word for MW4.
Black Ops wasn't called World At War 2, yet it still followed the story.

Black Ops was hardly a continuation of World at War. WaW was a (comparatively) realistic and respectful representation of World War 2, while BO just nicked Reznov and Dimitri and used them in some crazy batshit plot about some kind of super mustard gas

Treyarch said that Black Ops has no connection to WaW at all except for the bits where you play as Reznov in the flashback but even then that wasn't in the WaW story

but he doesn't pretend to credit the DayZ guys, he's just easily explaining to the audience what it's gonna be like.
